- How strong is a user's inclination to see (or ignore) advertising and design elements that look like ads?
- Where do people first look for common page elements? Which page elements get ignored?
- How do people look at search results?
- How do people read or scan different types of text?
- Which types of layout work best for headlines, subheads, and body text?
- To which types of pictures do people pay the most attention?
