Event Details
In Melbourne we will showcase a user experience team dedicated to making our lives easy.
Sensis has websites and product offerings that Australians use in their
daily lives. Websites such as Yellow, White Pages, Trading Post,
CitySearch, sensis.com.au and Whereis.
Sensis also has an established and talented team of interaction and
visual designers who create these sites. Come and meet the team
and hear how they focus on the usability of their websites and
products.
Specific topics include:
- Detailed “cultural probe” user research techniques
- User-centred design within an agile development environment
- Adapting user-centred techniques for mobile phone applications
- Engaging stakeholders along the design journey
Plus
there will be a panel discussion with people from a design and business
perspective from Sensis and other organisations, focusing on how you
make usability work in your organisation.
You also have the option of seeing the usability lab and a demonstration of their eye-tracking equipment.
Format:
- 6.00pm Arrive and mingle
- 6.30pm Meet the Concept & Design team
- 8.00pm Tour the Usability lab and see Eyetracking demo
- 8.30pm Finish
