World Usability Day in India

The goal of the event is to promote the fields of Usability Engineering and User-Centered Design. The event is designed to raise awareness about the importance of 'Good design for Better Living'. Here with we invite all those who are playing their part both actively and passively in making things easy. Design is not a domain limited to few disciplines, but indeed design is there in every discipline that makes it easy for consumers of technology. We are not just talking about internet and cell phones, but technology is everything we use, i.e., cars, microwave ovens, door knobs, etc., and yes computers too. Eminent people from the academia, industry, business and governance will be sharing their views and insights on this day. Entries received from worldwide for the 'Bad Design Competition' and for the 'International Cartoon Contest' will be on display during this event. We invite you to join us in our celebrations.
