Event Details
To mark the World Usability Day, we invite practitioners and students to come along to an evening seminar to stimulate discussions on this year’s theme – ¨EDUCATION: Designing for Social Change¨. The event is organized by Division Design and Human Factors at the Department of Product and Production Development at Chalmers, Göteborg, Sweden.
The evening will see 6 short presentations on sparking behavior change from different perspectives. All presentations will be held in Swedish. Featured speakers are:
1. Introduction, Oskar Rexfelt - Assistant Professor at Division Design and Human Factors, Chalmers
2. Habits and behavioural change in everyday life, Anders Biel - Professor at Department of Psychology, University of Gothenburg
3. Creating a greener driving behaviour through human-machine interaction design, Helena Strömberg - PhD student at Division Design and Human Factors, Chalmers
4. Design of a ship’s bridge, Lars-Ola Bligård - PhD student at Division Design and Human Factors, Chalmers
5. Exhibition design for Siemens Urban Sustainability Centre, Oskar Karlsson and Peter Polson - M.Sc. in Industrial Design Engineering
6. Design for green behaviour - a case study, Sara Renström - PhD student at Division Design and Human Factors, Chalmers
The event will run from 1700-1900 on November 10th. The venue is the VG lecture room (Ground Floor, V-building). There is no charge for this event and no need to register. If you have any queries about the event, please contact the organizer.
