WEB USABILITY FOR DUMMIES (oops, I meant Designers)
---------------------------------------------------
A quick, fun overview of what users (i.e., regular people) hate about websites that designers (i.e., maybe you & me) love, and vice-versa.
- Kristen Billings, User Experience Architect at The Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine will share the pet peeves of users.
- Marc Majercak, Web Designer for Insurance.com will speak out for designers/developers.
Let's face it, though, we're all users at one time or another, and we all share similar frustrations with those damn websites that make us jump through too many hoops. Funny thing is that as web designers/developers we sometimes lose that perspective. Kristen and Marc will try to help you put it in perspective... and keep it there.
This Web Usability event is for:
- Web developers
- Web designers
- Students
- Teachers
- and anyone who thinks that "user-friendly" ought to really mean what it says.
Please join us on Tuesday, November 14, 4-5:15 pm at
Tri-C Western Campus, Rm SS208/G208, 11000 Pleasant Valley Rd., Parma, OH 44130
