Event Details
Lecture will focus on "user friendly" design in healthcare products that are in mainstream use and follow the principles of universal design and usability. Such products are intended to be used by all individuals regardless of age or functional ability. Participants will learn about such products, where to purchase them, and how to adapt similar products purchased from their local stores. Presenter Kimberly A. Furphy, MS, OTR, ATP, Assistant professor of Occupational Therapy at the Richard Stockton College of NJ.
Presented by the Stockton Center on Successful Aging at the Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation, located on the Stockton College campus.
