Applying User-Centered Design (UCD) methodologies, the SSA usability professionals provide software development teams and business sponsors expertise needed to create easy-to-use interfaces for internal web sites and software applications used by SSA employees and clients.As a member of the project team, the usability professional is responsible for planning, coordinating, teaching, and facilitating UCD activities throughout the software development lifecycle. These activities include: business process analysis, user needs analysis, and iterative user interface design and usability testing.
