On November 14 Beaconfire will celebrate World Usability Day by holding
an event for nonprofit organizations. Beaconfire will review the
websites of three nonprofits to discuss navigation, screen allocation,
and calls to action. The navigation conversation will include user
expectations based on navigation labels, page titles, and content.
Screen allocation discussions will center on space allocation for
brand, calls to action, and content. The organization's use of calls to
action will be discussed in terms of frequency, placement, and logic.
Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to sign up to be reviewed at
this event. Please register your site as soon as possible to be
included as one of the three websites to be reviewed.
Event attendees will be invited to ask questions during and after each discussion. Participation space is limited - please RSVP.
