Event Details
What and where:
We've reserved a space at Mercatos Ristorante, across the roundabout from the Olympia Farmer’s Market in downtown Olympia. This is truely an informal gathering and networking event. There won't be any presentations, program or formal discussion topics. Attendees will pay for their own food and drink.
This year’s theme:
Designing for social change is especially relevant to the local Olympia community because so much of the work we do is geared to sparking change in how people behave, communicate, and do things in the world.
What is World Usability Day?
It's about making our world work better. World Usability Day was started in 2005 by the Usability Professionals Association as a way to promote efforts to humanize technology and make life easier. It has grown into an annual celebration with events held around the world.
The event is free, but space is limited. To RSVP, go here: http://usabilityhappyhour.eventbrite.com/
