From 4 to 7 pm:
Please join us to celebrate the 2nd World Usability Day, promoting the value of user-centered design and the belief that every user has the responsibility to ask for things that work better. The Barcelona event is hosted by UOC (in English, Open University of Catalonia) in cooperation with the Spain chapter of the Usability Professionals Association.
Afternoon snacks will be offered to all attendants and, for those interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the design process, Muriel Garreta and Magí Almirall have organized the first time ever USABILITY GYMKHANA!, a fun and entertaining exercise (small teams of 3 to 4 people will be formed at the event).
Also on this special occasion, UOC's Virtual Library has drawn up this current monographic, aimed at the Spanish speaking audience, with different online resources round-up to provide additional information: access to catalogues, webs, blogs, virtual communities and other organizations related with Usability.
Everyone's invited!
