Event Details
The 3925 Braker Lane Building in Austin, Texas, is a crossroads of multiple applied research organizations affiliated with The University of Texas at Austin plus unique technology incubators, commercialization ventures, and think tanks. The University XXI applied research program is hosting its neighbors at its new lab. The purpose is to expand awareness and understanding of usability through hands-on fun, and open collaborative dialogues through a get-acquaint event.
- Dual usability test: Is it the hardware or software? Participate in a test of a new touch screen loaded with a new piece of software. Can you identify whch usability issue is which?
- Airplanes and Legos: Techno-geek fun, and learning real usability principles and techniques, by making paper airplanes and building brick structures
- Brag book: Showcase how your own research organization, technology incubator startup, or other organization is sustaining the future through innovation
