Event Details
Michigan State University's Usability/Accessibility Research and Consulting (UARC) will be hosting Michigan's 6th annual World Usability Day event on November 11th at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center in East Lansing. This year’s theme will be Mobile Communication and will focus on the usability of websites on cell phones, tablets, PDAs, and other portable devices.
To better accommodate businesses and attendees with tighter budgets and busier schedules (and out of respect for Veterans Day), WUD will be free of charge and will be streamlined into a half-day event. While abridged, the schedule will still be full, including four speakers and a workshop on Designing Mobile Apps Using Adobe Flash. For those that are interested, there will be a networking lunch after the final speaker, and a poster session, UARC tours, and private meetings in the afternoon.
Date: Thursday, November 11, 2010
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (speakers and workshop)
Cost: Free (boxed lunch available at cost)
Location: Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center, East Lansing
