November 10, 2011 - Get Involved!

World Usability Day (WUD) was founded to ensure the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use. Our focus this year is Educations: Designing for Social Change. The seventh annual World Usability Day is off to an exciting start. The Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA) is coordinating more than 36 hours of activities in more than 40 countries around the world on November 10, 2011. Your involvement is integral to the success of this global initiative.

How your efforts with World Usability Day made an impact in 2010:

  • A record 153 events in 44 countries
  • 40,000 people at events worldwide
  • Thousands of online participants
  • Extensive worldwide media coverage

As part of our focus on Education: Designing for Social Change, World Usability Day will serve as an impetus to creating greater awareness for designs, products and services that improve and facilitate education around the world. This year's events and forums will focus on both adult and children’s education.
