HFI wants to give you a Kindle Touch™! Announcing... a contest! Tell us a story: Your worst User Experience meltdown and how it could have been avoided. (If you haven't had a meltdown of your own, you can write about one you have witnessed in a major public website.) The winning story will win a Kindle Touch, the wireless reading device, and a copy of Susan Weinshenk's new book, 100 Things Every Designer Needs to Know About People. Five runners-up will each receive a copy of Susan's book. Topic: Tell us your worst User Experience meltdown and how it could have been avoided. The rules: Submit your story in our HFI Connect forum. Stories will be judged on this criteria: - Impact of the meltdown - effect on customers, reputation, bottom line - The effectiveness of your solution to avoid this type of meltdown - Stories must be in English. - Winning stories will be posted on the HFI website. Stories should not contain any confidential or proprietary information. - Entries will be judged by Dr. Eric Schaffer, HFI’s founder & CEO, and members of the HFI Executive Management Team. -The decision of the judges is final. -HFI employees are not eligible for this contest. - The deadline for submission is Friday, November 4th, 2011 - The prizes: The winning story will win a Kindle Touch, the wireless reading device, and a copy of Susan Weinshenk's new book, 100 Things Every Designer Needs to Know About People.
