How Can You Minimize Your Transportation Carbon Footprint?

This page provides resources for exploring alternative modes of transportation. We have pulled together resources for people to use ride share, carpool, public transportation, shared vehicle and many other solutions.

We want you to think about how you are using the transportation available to you. Ask yourself these questions:

  1. How am I using transportation?
  2. Do I like the mode I choose?
  3. Is my method of transportation the most ecological available to me?
  4. If not, is there a way I can offset the carbon to achieve a better carbon footprint for the day?

We think about using transportation and we expand the term usability to include not just ease of use, but practical use, ecofriendly and economical use of transportation.   We think of usability of transportation as a holistic experience. This includes the user experience, and balancing that with beginning from choosing which mode of transportation
