The World Usability Day 2011 (WUD2011) planning committee is pleased to announce this year's Partner Events. The Partner Events Competition is designed to help bring local WUD content, events & initiatives closer to the user experience community via the WUD Partner Events Competition. Organizers feel it is crucial to better sync some of the most powerful local WUD2011 activities with the community by partnering with events to: report, share and promote content & activities on or near November 10.2011.

Why partner with us?
The benefits:
- FIVE Partner Events have been selected; two events per country maximum
- Each will SHARE a 2-5 min video; Partner videos will be posted to the WUD website & WUD YouTube channel
- Local event sponsorship support; promoting sponsors on the WUD website & more. . .

What is required?
- World Usability Day 2011 Partner Event application – due September 1, 2011
- Applicant anticipates a minimum of 15 participants at their WUD 2010 event
- Applicant must register their event on the WUD site no later than September 1, 2011
- Applicant must be Education: Designing for Social Change themed & UPA/WUD branded
- Applicant agrees to submit local content, photos & event highlights both pre-, live & post-WUD event.
- Applicant agrees to submit a short video to include interviews with sponsors and exhibitors
- UPA International Chapters qualify for first consideration on a first come, first served basis
- FIVE events will be selected; two events per country maximum
