Nationwide Insurance Usability Day Recognition

Part 1. Informal Booth/Meet and Greet.

• Duration: Most of the day.
• Engage passersby in discussion and demonstrations of usability and design issues, the impact they have on even the most minor areas of life, and how good design solutions and usability planning provide resolution.
• Handouts and literature. Drawing for gifts. Completion of short surveys on tools used by most associates. Food.

Part 2. Formal Presentation.

• Duration: 2 hours in the afternoon.
• Panel discussion involving NW directors discussing value of usability testing in the development of their products.
• Impromptu demonstration of a usability test using "volunteer from the audience" and followup comments on the process from usability experts.
• Short opening and closing talks.
