In honour of the theme of transportation, which brings focus to the design of user friendly forms of transport, transport systems, processes and infrastructure, the Usability Professionals Association (UPA) Sydney Chapter have asked the question “What would it take to get you out of your car?".

The WUD in Aachen will be organized by P3-Solutiions in cooperation with the Media Computing Group of the RWTH Aachen (University). We will look into the theme "Transportation" as a wide field. Whether freight or person, on rails, roads or in the air. We have organized a day of dissertations and workshops featuring two major keynotes.

Our theme is "Transportation of Knowledge" which is an adoption of this years theme "Transportation". We will adress issues of usability in learning and teaching.
