Event Details
This event will be held on the Goodwin College campus in East Hartford. The first half of the program will consist of a panel discussion with distinguished faculty and administration in the Homeland Security and Criminal Justice programs and the Department of Communications. It will be an open dialogue on emergency management issues at the college level, and how information is disseminated to targeted communities. The second half of the program will be a "design slam" break-out session to address issues expressed during the panel discussion. Through a paper-prototype exercise and collaboration between usability practitioners, subject matter experts and students, the goal is to provide design ideas to enrich the student experience and impact change.
