Monday, Nov 10 – Unveiling of the challenge:
Info packet emailed to each team member. They should review the packet to Understand the problem, Review the requirements, Perform a competitive review/audit
Wednesday, Nov 12:
12:00 – 12:05: Quickly review the challenge and rules
12:05 – 1:30: Design and Draw!
This will be broken down into smaller sections:
30 minutes – Brainstorming and concept sketches
10 minutes – Decide on final concept
15 minutes – Determine key scenarios and workflows to design for
30 minutes – Refine design, Sketching and Editing of concept(s) and Prototyping
1:30: Handoff of designs to UCD team
Thursday, Nov 13:
12:00 – 12:10: Assign designs to different teams for testing
12:10 – 12:20: Review and understand designs
12:20-1:00: Testing and analysis
Test 1: 5-10 minutes
Test 2: 5-10 minutes
Test 3: 5-10 minutes
Analysis and recommendations: 10 minutes
1:00-1:30: Handoff of usability test results
Friday, Nov 14:
12:00: Announce Contest winner!
