Event Details
The Institute of Applied Communication and New Technologies Laboratory in Communication, Education and Media at the University of Athens is organizing for the third consecutive year the Days of Usability and Accessibility, which this year will celebrate the two-day event on "Apollon Center" in Piraeus on the 10th and 11th November 2010.
Particular features of this year's event will be:
• Thematic session of the Greek Working Group of ACM for Human Computer Interaction (ACM Greek SIGCHI) exploring in depth some of the most important aspects of the concept of usability in relation to the communication field, and the introduction of these issues in the Greek higher education (Wednesday afternoon, November 10, 2010)
• Laboratory intergenerational communication and learning in interactive digital media platforms and Collective games (social games) (Breakfast Thursday, November 11, 2010)
• thematic session on usability and accessibility of digital technologies in education, involving users, manufacturers and research organizations (afternoon Thursday, November 11, 2010).
