The future of usability. Experience-ability.

In the end, we know design is really about people… the experiences they have and the ones they desire. But how do we identify these desired experiences? How do we create an emotional connection and engagement through design? And how do we meaningfully evaluate if new systems deliver on these desires? In this talk Chris Rockwell, of Lextant, will share principles and techniques for eliciting, translating, and assessing future experiences for designed systems. We’ll look beyond traditional measures of usability to how we can more directly evaluate how well we deliver on desired experience. He will share examples from everyday service, consumer product, and retail design.
