Abstract

The Functional Accessibility Evaluator (FAE) and the Mozilla/Firefox Accessibility Extension can be used to test web resources for the functional accessibility requirements of the W3C WCAG and Section 508 accessibility requirements.  These tools automate the testing of many manual checking required by other automated tools.  FAE also provides site wide summary results designed to help managers efficiently allocate resources to improve accessibility.  The tools are also open source so there are free for anyone to use.
