Our success relies on professionals like you, getting involved and volunteering your time and talent. There are many opportunities for you to get involved before event day, and during the events. Please contact us (see below) and let us know your interests and skills so that we can ensure a great World Usability Day experience! We thank you in advance for your help and look forward to working with you over the next several months. Be a part of the World Usability Day 2006 Team!Pre WUD:
- Sponsor WUD -- encourage your company or another organization
- Event organizers- create a new event or:
- Help organizers from last year
- Secure a venue
- Organize catering
- Set up for the event/be the ground crew
- Sell merchandise
- Create awareness for WUD 2006
- Get local PR coverage
- Write an article for local media
- Market the event within your company/region
- Webcast coordinators
- Coordinate local events that want to be webcast
- Interact with webcast presenters
- Organize WUD content and registrants with webcast platform(s)
- Web content editors - obtain, edit and post regional content
On WUD:
- Event photographers - capture WUD highlights for use on WUD website and materials
- Web content editors- obtain, edit and post regional content
- Webcast Back-channel for:
- Registrants, local event and webcast presenters needing support
- Supporters for online sessions (introductions, keeping to the schedule, etc.)
