This event will provide some general insights to best practices of health professional websites that doctors use to conduct their research. Keynote Systems had conducted various online task-based over the past 6 years for large health care providers and pharmaceutical corporations. Keynote s online quantitative/qualitative customer research is an unmoderated, task-based testing research approach. While users (health care professionals) are completing the tasks on the site, we capture information about their attitudes and behavior. The samples sizes are large and statistically significant, increasing the confidence of the results. These studies are unmoderated which eliminates the potential bias of moderated, in-lab studies. In addition, this methodology provides the geographic reach which is difficult to attain with other methods. Participants complete the study in their own environment, using their own computers and connection speeds, at a time that is convenient for them. This methodology supports user research at every stage of web site development. Eugenio Santiago and Ania Rodriguez will be presenting.
