Improving carbon literacy

In everyday life we are increasingly exposed to figures on CO2 emissions. But how can ordinary people relate to kilograms and tons of carbon dioxide? How much worse is a long distance flight than a one-year consumption of beef? At the seminar we will discuss different techniques and applications used to help making carbon dioxide information usable and understandable. Jorge L. Zapico

E-books instead of paper books?

E-books are on the way to become a widespread technology. Their environmental impact, however, has hardly been studied.  In an ongoing research project at the Centre for Sustainable Communications an e-book and a paper novel are compared from an environmental perspective. The preliminary results are presented at the seminar. Åsa Moberg
